Hello, everyone! How are you? I hope you're having a lovely day and I hope you and your loved ones are safe during these troubled times.
Today I thought about doing a review on a brand of makeup brushes that I saw at the supermarket the other day. The brand is called Hebe.
I was really interested on the brushes because they were so fluffly and seemed so good quality at the touch, so I decided to get almost every brush they had at the store.
These brushes, in my opinion, are not the absolute cheapest avaliable but are also not expensive. I don't remember the prices, which I am really sorry about.
If you live in Portugal, I bought them at Pingo Doce.
Now, let's dive into the review itself!
These were all the brushes that I got:
Now I'm going to talk a little bit about each one individually, starting with the eye brushes and finishing with the face brushes.
This is the E05 and it is a really nice, fluffy and long blending brush. This is a little bit different than usual blending brushes since it is thinner and has longer bristles. It can also be used for the crease.
I also use this one to blend one colour into another and to blend eyeshadow on the lower lid, since it is a thinner blending brush.
This is the E03 and it is an awesome fluffly flat brush.
You can use it to apply eyeshadow on your lid and you can also blend it a bit, since it is very fluffy and soft.
This is the E04 and it is a lovely precision brush.
It is so useful to apply eyeshadow to the lower lash line with precision. I also use this one to apply highligher on the inner corner of my eyes, on the brow bone and also on the tip of my nose and cupid's bow.
This brush can also be used to apply eyeshadow to the crease more precisely.
This one is the E06 and it is a dense and short flat C-shaped brush that I specially use to smudge eyeliner on my lash lines.
It can be used for the same things the E04 can be used, honestly, it is just a denser brush with a different shape.
This brush is the E01 and it is a thin angled brush.
I use this brush for my eyebrows but you can use it on your eyes too, for more precision when applying eyeshadow. I never used it to apply eyeliner, but I think there are thinner brushes out there to precisely apply eyeliner.
Now the face brushes, this is the F04. This is marked as highlighter brush but it can be used for multiple things, such as setting porder, specially for under the eyes, blush or even contour. I, personally, use this one for under eye setting powder and that was my reason to get it but it certainly can be used for many things.
This one is the F02 and it is an angled face brush.
This brush can be used for blush, contour, bronzer, etc.
I started using it as a contour brush and it does the job pretty well, but now I use it as a blush brush.
This brush is different than the other brushes since it is double ended. It is the F09.
This brush consists in a big fluffy brush on one end that is really good as a powder brush, that can also be used to apply bronzer or blush. On the other end there is a small brush that can easily be used to blend eyeshadows. Personally, I use it to blend concealer but you can also use it for eyeshadows or nose contour.
The F01 is just a powder brush, there isn't really much more to say about it. It is a nice and fluffy face powder brush that's not too big. Needless to say that it can also be used for bronzer or blush.
This is the F03 and it is a flat foundation brush.
It is really good at blending foundation and I assume it would also be good at blending cream products in general.
This brush refference is F07 and it is a flat brush.
For so long I didn't understand how this kind of brush could be useful but I still got it.
It is incredibly good to quickly blend the concealer under your eyes reaching the smaller and difficult areas a makeup sponge can't reach. It can also be used to apply setting powder under your eyes or for contour, specially nose contour.
The F08 brush is a round foundation brush. I think this one would be better for blending cream products rather than foundation. I only used this brush once for foundation and I found that even though it blended it well, I think it kinda absorbed some of the product, giving me less coverage. But try it yourself and see what you like!
The last brush that I have to talk about is the F10. It is also an angled face brush that is specially good for sculpting the face. I use it for contour and bronzer, but i think it is better at applying bronzer, because it is big and fluffy, so it gives a flushed look easier than an actual contoured look.
These were all the brushes that I bought. I really liked all of them as you could tell from my review. They apply makeup really nicely and they didn't shed yet, even though I've washed them multiple times. During this post, I tried to tell you what each brush could be used for and what I use it for. I also tried to show you that makeup products and accessories can be used for multiple things instead of only what they are marked for. Try them for yourself and see what works for you!
Let me know if you have these brushes or if you decide to get them. If you do, tell me what you think of them! I liked these so much that maybe I'll repurchase a couple of the brushes, particularly the ones for the eyes.
I hope this post was useful. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments section or dm me on instagram, I will try to help :) If you'd like me to talk about something, feel free to contact me in the ways mentioned above <3
Have a great day, take care of yourself and stay safe x
