Body Natur Body Care Products - Review

Hello everyone! I hope you're doing well and taking care of yourselves.

Speaking of self care, I think it is extremely important to take care of yourself both phisically and mentally, so today's conversation subject is physical self care, as I am no therapist so I have no experience on mental health except my own.

I have always neglected myself, specially my appearence, even more when my mental health gets worse. But one of the advices my therapist gave me was to take care of my appearence, in order to feel good with myself. And the truth is that when I do my personal self care routine, I feel better with myself. I think physical self care is a step towards mental self care.

That being said, today I am going to review a brand of body care products that I recently discovered and started using, that I am absolutely loving so far and that makes me feel really good when I use its' products. The brand called Body Natur. This brand is obviously cruelty free and vegan and it is also affordable. I am going to mention the prices as I refer to the products.

In this post I am going to show you body scrubs, body moisturizers and a body serum.

If you live in Portugal, you can buy this brand at Continente and Auchan supermarkets at least.

The first product I'm going to mention is the body scrub and it was the first product I bought from the brand, so I have been using it for a while now. There are three scents with two distinct formulas and I have tried all three. The scents are "red fruits, pomegranate and dragon fruit", "mango, papaya and marula" and "rice and coconut oil". The first two scents have similar formulas, which is a gel with many very small exfoliating particles, so they are very gentle. The last scent is more like a cream with fewer but bigger and harsher particles and also lots of very tiny ones. None of them are oily, not even the one with the coconut oil scent.

My favourite one from all three is the "rice and coconut oil", because of the bigger and harsher particles that I feel that exfoliate my skin better and give me better results and also because I find it more hydrating, so my skin feels softer after using this one. From the gentler ones, my favourite is the "mango, papaya and marula" simply because of its' smell. Despite the coconut scrub being my favourite, I usually alternate it with the mango one. The red fruits scent is the one that I like the least, but that's personal preference. I use these twice or at least once a week and they really help with getting rid of ingrown hairs and improving the skin appearence and texture quite a lot in my opinion. I paid 8,49€ for this product.

The next product I have to show you is the body butter. First of all, my first impression was "omg it smells delicious!". It really does smell amazing and these body butters come in the same three scents as the body scrubs. My favourite scents, are the "mango, papaya and marula" and "rice and coconut oil", I can't pick a favourite. Besides the amazing smell, they are thick creams that will really hydrate your skin (the lable says it keeps the moisture for 48h) and I use them at night (because I'm usually not going out - specially now due to covid) because they take long to be completely absorbed by your skin. You will wake up feeling like you still have the cream on your skin and you will actually feel the hydration this product gave you. I absolutely love this, 10/10 recommend. On a side note, I like to combine the scent of the moisturizer with the scrub, so the smell is a little bit more intense afterwards, but that's just, once again, personal preference and I don't always do that. I also paid 8,49€ for each of the moisturizers.

The next product is the body sorbet and it is also a body moisturizer but much lighter and easily absorbed. Again, it comes in the three same scents but I only got the mango one (I also wanna get the coconut one for smell combination purposes). This is an amazing product because it really hydrates your skin, despite being much lighter and not greasy at all. The texture of this particular cream is very weird, it almost has a powdery texture, but still really hydrating, as I said. When you apply it on your skin and you touch it afterwards, it almost feels like water, as if your skin was wet. And the reason why this is so great is because I can get dressed in like 5 minutes after I apply it, so it's really good to use after the shower, if you need to get dressed right away to go somewhere. This product costs 5,62€ and just like the body butters, it has become an everyday "necessity" to me. I think it is important to say that I shower once a day, so if I apply the body sorbet, I won't apply the body butter at night, and vice versa, because it is really unnecessary to me at least. The lable also says that this product keeps the moisture on your skin for 24h and I think it is true, for me at least. This product is also great for the summer, when you show more skin, if you want to smell good and be hydrated all over your body without being sticky nor greasy.

Last but not least, there is this incredible body serum. This product has a different smell from all the other products I mentioned: it smells like blueberries and acai, which I also really love. I love acai scented products. A little bit of this product goes a long way and you can apply it on its own after the shower or after the moisturizer, on your driest areas. The lable says it keeps the moisture for 24h and it does take a long time to be completely absorbed by the skin, so I wouldn't recommend getting dressed right after you use this. I absolutely love this product and, when I use it at night, I wake up with the softest skin imaginable and it feels like you can still feel the residues of the product on your skin. All these products are like that, you can still feel the moisture they gave you hours after you apply it. Finally, this product costs 8,24€.

Now on a general review, I am so happy that I got these products and I have been using them every single day since I got them (I use the scrub twice a week as I said and one mosturizer a day, unless I feel like I need more, which has not happened to me so far). I feel really good after a full routine with these products and I also smell delicious after I use them, which is really nice, specially in the summer when your skin is uncovered as I already mentioned. As you probably could tell, I am obsessed with these products and I couldn't find any bad things about them. I just wish the scrubs came in a bigger container, honestly, because I run out of them so fast.

And that is all for this post, I hope it was useful. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments section or dm me on instagram, I will try to help :) If you'd like me to talk about something, feel free to contact me in the ways mentioned above <3
